Fertilizer coating machine: the “smart coat” maker of modern agriculture
In modern agricultural production, fertilizer coating machine is quietly changing traditional fertilization methods. Fertilizer coating technology not only improves fertilizer utilization but also promotes agricultural development towards efficiency and environmental friendliness.
The core function of a fertilizer coating machine is to coat fertilizer particles with a special material, forming a protective film. Compared to conventional fertilizers, coated fertilizers offer significant advantages:
Improve nutrient utilization—reduce losses due to volatilization and leaching, and increase nitrogen fertilizer utilization.
Extend fertilizer effectiveness—a single application can meet crop needs throughout their entire growth period, reducing the need for topdressing.
Reduce environmental pollution—effectively reduce agricultural non-point source pollution and protect water ecosystems.
Therefore, in order to make fertilizer granules more suitable for long-distance transportation and storage, after the fertilizer granulator completes the granulation, it passes through the subsequent fertilizer dryer and fertilizer cooler. After the moisture content of the fertilizer reaches the standard, it needs to be coated and packaged. The coated fertilizer granules can slow down the release of volatilization and also prevent moisture.
For example, in common disc granulation production line and rotary drum granulation production line, fertilizer powder passes through a disc granulator or rotary drum granulator to become fertilizer granules. A wet granulation process is then used to control the moisture content of the granules. After screening to identify qualified granules, the granules can then be coated. Fertilizer coating improves nutrient utilization and achieves higher economic benefits.
Fertilizer coating machines not only increase fertilizer utilization but also promote the development of precision and sustainable agriculture.
