【FAQ】How do you select the most suitable granulator based on your raw materials and production goals?

Answer: Granulation is a core step in fertilizer production, and equipment selection directly determines the quality of the finished product and operational costs. We offer four main categories of granulation equipment tailored to different scenarios:

Rotary drum granulator: Ideal for large-scale, continuous production, particularly for NPK compound fertilizers and organic-inorganic blended fertilizers. It offers high granulation rates and produces smooth, spherical granules; by adjusting the rotation speed and inclination angle, you can control the particle size distribution. It is the preferred choice for projects with an annual output exceeding 30,000 tons.

Disc granulator: Features a simple structure and low investment costs, making it suitable for small- to medium-scale production of organic or single-nutrient fertilizers. The adjustable disc angle ensures uniform granule formation, making it an excellent choice when granule aesthetics are a priority.

Double-roller press granulator: Eliminates the need for a drying process, resulting in significant energy savings. It is ideal for heat-sensitive materials (such as certain bio-bacterial fertilizers) or formulations with low moisture content. The extruded granules possess high strength, making them well-suited for subsequent blending operations.

Our technical team will recommend the optimal model based on your raw material analysis (moisture content, viscosity, fiber content) and target production capacity. We can also conduct small-scale trial runs to verify performance, ensuring a risk-free selection process.
