August 28, 2025, Yanling County, Hunan Province | Intelligent Seedling Substrate Production Project
With the rapid development of specialty planting and intensive seedling cultivation in Yanling County, standardized seedling substrates have become a core necessity for improving the quality and efficiency of the planting industry. The previous model of individual farmers manually mixing materials and processing with simple equipment suffered from numerous drawbacks, including chaotic proportions, unstable quality, limited yield, and low seedling survival rates. To achieve standardized, commercialized, and mass production of substrates, the client has put our company’s fully automated seedling substrate production line into operation. On August 28th, the on-site installation work was fully completed.
This production line is specifically designed for horticultural seedling cultivation, fruit and vegetable cultivation, and medicinal herb planting substrates. It overcomes the instability of traditional manual mixing, and operates as a fully automated assembly line. It can flexibly produce various products such as general-purpose seedling substrates, organic cultivation substrates, and lightweight nutrient soil. The equipment is compatible with dry and wet mixtures, and the formula can be freely adjusted according to crop needs. It is suitable for various planting scenarios such as vegetable seedling cultivation, flower cuttings, and seedling cultivation, and the products have extremely strong market adaptability.
The entire equipment system operates stably, with low noise and minimal wear and tear. It has few vulnerable parts and is easy to maintain, making it ideal for long-term continuous mass production. Compared to traditional processes, the automated production line significantly reduces labor costs. The finished substrate is sterile, breathable, and has good fertilizer retention, which significantly improves seedling survival rates, shortens the seedling cycle, and greatly enhances product market competitiveness.
After the project’s successful implementation, it filled the gap in the local standardized seedling substrate production capacity. The high-quality nutrient substrate produced not only meets the needs of local seedling bases but also reaches the agricultural input markets of surrounding counties and cities, contributing to the standardized, large-scale, and high-quality development of Yanling County’s specialty planting industry and establishing a benchmark project for regional seedling substrate processing.
