Jiangsu Yancheng Granulation Production Line Installation Site: Organic Fertilizer Granulation Equipment Enters Commissioning Phase on April 22, 2026

On April 22, 2026, at the Jiangsu Yancheng granulation production line installation site, technicians were calibrating the disc granulator and connecting it to the spray system. This is a complete set of organic fertilizer granulation production line equipment that our company will ship to Yancheng in 2026. Once completed, it will be used to process local livestock and poultry manure and straw mixtures to produce commercial organic fertilizer.

Project Background: Yancheng’s Need for Green Agricultural Transformation

Yancheng is a major agricultural city on the coast of Jiangsu Province, with large-scale rice, wheat, and vegetable cultivation and intensive livestock and poultry farming. In recent years, Yancheng City has continuously promoted green planting and breeding cycles and reduced fertilizer use while increasing efficiency, with the area of organic fertilizer replacing chemical fertilizer constantly expanding. However, the manure treatment capacity of local small and medium-sized farms is still insufficient, and some livestock and poultry manure cannot be disposed of locally. Therefore, the project team decided to build an organic fertilizer granulation production line to convert manure into easily transportable and applicable granular organic fertilizer.

Equipment Configuration: Complete Production Line Centered on a Disc Granulator

This granulation production line adopts a complete configuration, covering the entire process from post-fermentation materials to finished product packaging. Core equipment includes a half-wet material crusher, a double-shaft mixer, a disc granulator, a dryer, a cooler, a drum screen, and an automatic packaging machine. The disc granulator utilizes the rolling friction of the inclined disc and atomized spraying to granulate the powder, suitable for organic materials with a moisture content of 30%–35%. Addressing the high viscosity of the mixture of cow dung, chicken manure, and straw commonly found in Yancheng, the equipment has been optimized in terms of disc surface anti-sticking and scraper structure to reduce wall adhesion and material blockage. The accompanying dryer employs a low-temperature, high-volume process, dehydrating at 60℃–80℃ to maximize the retention of organic matter and beneficial microbial activity.

Installation Site: From Positioning and Calibration to System Integration

At the installation site of the granulation production line in Yancheng, Jiangsu, technicians sequentially completed the positioning and fixing of the disc granulator, dryer, cooler, and screen. The initial disc tilt angle is set at 45°, and the rotation speed is adjusted to 15–20 r/min. Fine-tuning will be done based on pellet formation after load testing. The spray system uses atomizing nozzles to ensure uniform water mist coverage of the material surface, avoiding localized over-wetting caused by direct water jets. The electrical control cabinet, conveyor belt, and dust removal pipeline are synchronously connected, and no-load testing has been completed; the system is about to enter the load testing phase.

Project Significance: A Closed Loop from Manure to Granular Fertilizer

After the granulation production line is put into operation, it is expected to produce 10,000–30,000 tons of commercial organic fertilizer annually, converting local livestock and poultry manure and straw in Yancheng into granular organic fertilizer for use in rice, wheat, and vegetable cultivation. Compared to powdered fertilizer, granular fertilizer has lower transportation costs, more uniform application, controllable nutrient release, and higher added value. For Yancheng, this is not only an environmental protection project for manure treatment but also a concrete practice to promote improved farmland quality and reduce fertilizer application.

The installation site of the granulation production line in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province on April 22, 2026, marks the entry of this organic fertilizer granulation project into a critical period of equipment commissioning. With the completion of joint commissioning of core equipment such as the disc granulator, this production line will become a new node in the Yancheng planting and breeding circular industrial chain.
